Carrot Dessert-Carrot Halwa
INGREDIENTS
- Carrots 1 kg, whole milk 1 liter, sugar 200 gr, ghee 60 gr and cardamom pods 10. Raisins, pistachios and crushed almonds to serve.
- Grate the carrot very finite.
- In a saucepan, stirring constantly, cook the carrot with the milk and cardamom over medium heat, for 25 minutes or until the milk has reduced by half and the carrot has softened.
- Add the sugar and cook another 25/30 minutes until the milk has completely evaporated.
- Add the ghee and saute for 5 minutes.
- Serve warm or at room temperature with crushed pistachios, raisins, and almonds. Ready! To enjoy!
