How To Stop Feeling Tired?

How To Stop Feeling Tired?

In Mexico, we have the popular saying that "idleness is the mother of all vices", but perhaps the cause of you always feeling tired would be a bacterium that lives in your intestine.

The microbiome lives within all of us, but scientists study the differences of this bacterium in healthy people and in people who have been diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome, a mysterious and debilitating disease.

As the symptoms of chronic fatigue are confused with those of other conditions, the researchers begin to pay attention to the intestinal bacteria to find other responses to you always feeling tired, and published it in the journal Microbiome.

From the outset, the group led by Dr. W. Ian Lipkin of the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University says that these bacteria influence how we feel.

Also, in how our immune system responds to the environment, or how it responds to an adequate diet and about the repercussions that influence chronic fatigue with the intestinal flora.

In the Center for Infection and Immunity of this university, 50 patients with chronic fatigue syndrome and 50 healthy people were sampled, in general, women with an average age of 51 years.

The tests were a genetic analysis of fecal samples from all participants, as well as traditional blood samples, which tested a greater amount of intestinal bacteria in people with the disease.

For example, irritable bowel syndrome sometimes conceals signs of chronic fatigue, a warning sign that scientists already knew and took care of those who helped them in their most recent study.

In our country, the Ministry of Health explains that this syndrome is more common in men between 25 and 60 years, regardless of size or weight, which limits their daily activities to those who suffer from it. Women are not exempt.

In the Internal Medicine Service of the Juárez Hospital of Mexico, the treatment to combat it is with antiviral or antidepressants, the latter being the best result to reduce symptoms by up to 60 percent.

In the United States, one million people are affected by chronic fatigue syndrome, who complain of extreme tiredness after some effort, muscle and joint pain, difficulties in thinking and even problems sleeping.

It is thought that more people could suffer from it, but only 20 percent of the patients have been diagnosed and as such, there is no approved treatment to combat it. Worldwide, seven out of every 100,000 people suffer from it.
